Web Project Engineering & Engagement Management

OgilvyInteractive (2005)

Projects of varying size for many of Ogilvy’s top clients in New York City, including Motorola, Mead Johnson Nutritionals, Sprite, Ameritrade, IBM and Cisco.

  • Coding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript code for promotional e-mails, microsites and large scale (100+ pages) web site projects;
  • Design and development of DHTML menus and other interactive interfaces;
  • Developed a customized system of processing large scale site copydecks from MS Word to well-formed XHTML, cutting total coding time by 50% for 2 major projects;
  • Management of source code versioning using Rational Clear Case;
  • Supervision of other freelance developers on large projects;
  • Day-to-day consultations with project teams on all engineering issues;
  • Production of image assets from Photoshop comps provided by project art directors.

Several of these projects were deployed as online components of various advertising campaigns. Others were adopted as CD-ROM reference tools for internal use by the agency’s clients.
